Exterior Venetian Blinds

External venetian blinds combine perfect external sun and shading with modern design.

External venetian blinds have been used in Europe for over 50 years and are part of almost every house facade. Their construction is similar to that of internal venetian blinds, they are built much stronger and have guide rails or guide wires. The blinds are controlled from inside your home or office.

Our external venetian blinds are known for their outstanding heat protection and in times of increasing energy prices are definitely a great way to conserve energy and save money.

Use daylight in a controlled manner

Daylight guiding venetian blinds are true masters of the art of using daylight effectively. They direct the daylight available externally or near windows into the inner room areas via the ceiling, enabling offices to be illuminated for a large part of the day without the use of artificial light. Special concave slats with a highly reflective surface make this possible. The distance between the slats and slat geometry are calculated in such a way that all the light falling on the slats is directed into the room. Less artificial light is required, therefore saving energy and money.

Comfortable rooms

And finally: when designing the ergonomic illumination of work-stations and computer screens, you must ensure both visual comfort and correct temperature. Light guiding venetian blinds are powerful daylight systems which meet these requirements. They are suitable for use in inner rooms, in double facades and counter-sash windows.
